Welcome to KalxDesigns, and to my passion.
It is wonderful to wake up each day to do something that I truly enjoy….designing and making stylish, contemporary eyeglass chains/holders and lanyards, as well as interact with my customers from around the globe. KalxDesigns has become my passion.
I have been making jewelry for over ten years. I started with crafting beaded ID name tag lanyards for my colleagues at work. If we had to wear those ID tags while in the office, at least we wanted to wear something fashionable. It was a great success and I found that I really, really liked it. So, I then branched out to selling at local craft shows. At one of those craft shows, a customer asked me if I could make her an eyeglass chain that wouldn’t make her look like an old granny. Thus began my foray into designing eyeglass chains and holders that are sophisticated and stylish. i have since left the “office world” and now work full-time in my studio doing what I love.
